My folks are wanting to upgrade their old hifi system and have asked me about wifi multiroom systems like Sonos. But, they still use a lot of cds and are now in their 70s so want a simple to use interface all-in-one system (so not the Sonos connect linking in a separate cd player nor ripping cds to a usb stick etc.).
Are there any smart/wifi speakers that have a cd player built into their family? Googling for multiroom systems and Sonos and Bose keep appearing, but I don't believe either offer a cd player incorporated base-unit?
Looking for ideas/help.
Also, they have a wifi bridge in their house to get full wifi coverage - this has been setup so there's 2 different wifi networks with their own ssid. I'm assuming this would mean that speakers on 1 network won't connect to the base unit on the other?
