I think you should lower the throttle as you roll so its at it's lowest when your inverted, and then throttle back up as you come back to right side up.
Had chance at lunchtime to get. Flew it with the new 4s 5000mAh Zippy, got about 11 mins before the low battery kicked alarm kicked in.
Got new landing gear & all being well, a gimbal to fit on Friday. Then to sort out some FPV stuff.
What model have you got? (and landing gear)?
The landing gear is the generic 550 raised legs with gimbal Mount that can move back and forth on a couple of rails. Offset the imbalance by hanging battery out the back.
Gimbal is one that works with the Naza lite.
Did think about retracts but only 1 channel left on the receiver.
White raised legs? or skid type legs? iv still got landing skids to attach to my 450, not got round to it yet
My mistake, its the skid type landing gear.
took mine out for a quick tuning flight and having some trouble ironing out some little niggles. If I do a fast flip ( flip at speed so forward flight remains fluid) I have to throttle hard out of the flip to accommodate a bad exit angle to the flip, if I try to adjust the pitch at all to maintain my flight angle the quad will pitch up the nose violently. also getting some drift to the left when I do punch outs.
Good news is I lost a lipo last night in the dying light as it evacuated my quad at speed, I then found it tonight![]()
Not these by any chance?

Yep, they be the ones.
Same one as me, I guess you found they didnt have holes ready for the DJI mounting plates? did you have to buy the nuts/bolts from like a DIY store and use the long mounting holes on the bottom of the DJI plate if you get what I mean?
I thought there would be mounting holes ready for it to mount to DJI plates
Also, does your 550 sit bang on in the middle of the landing skids?
Been warned they can be a bit of a pig to fit. Hopefully I'll get time to fit em tomorrow or weekend. Being ill hadn't helped![]()
