More of a focus issue then, as you can barely see the sunset, just the houses.Yeh I played around with exposure settings and that was pretty good, if I dialled it down too much it was too dark etc.
So used that setting as my sweet spot v

Yeh that's probably it, forgot to touch to focus lol. Too busy trying to get a decent shot for once.More of a focus issue then, as you can barely see the sunset, just the houses.
Ahh fair enough, they do look stunning though.I rarely use filters for stills. I did try using a polarising filter for a while but gave up. I just do a bit of post processing, mostly to make up for the shortcomings of the Mavic's camera. Just a bit of clarity in the sky and raising shadow on the land is normally all it takes. Plus a slight boost to the saturation, because it is the internet and everyone seems to expect unrealistically vibrant colour!

I was planning on taking my mavic for another little flight. But too damn hot outside, may wait till later in the evening and take her up again to get some shots.
Just was in my garden and could here a buzzing sound looked up and could see a drone, this was very very high, it was just hovering, it then zoomed off.
It must have had super range on it and been quite a decent drone. But isn't it illegal to fly these in residential built up areas, quite clearly was just snooping into peoples back gardens.
Probably, depending on what drone it is. The dji ones through the app give you warnings about flying in built up areas.
With mine, if I do fly it in my backyard I keep it in my backyard. I don't go zooming off into other people's backyards etc. I just take it straight up, take a few pics and vids then bring it down. If I want to whizz around, I take it up to some massive fields where I live. Tons of space to fly it around without having to worry about crashing into trees etc.
Abyss again stunning pics even your first one.
Thanks. All thoughts I've had too. Was thinking about the controller this morning too. Love how the Mavic folds up, I'd be less concerned about it breaking in transit. Also thought about the range of the Mavic, which I believe is much further?
Every reason to be happy with that!
DJI's development cycles seem to be shortening, so I'd be really interested to see what the Mavic's replacement will look like. Surely it can only be a year or so away.
