multitasking on the iphone 4

so... apart from letting the terribly slow youtube videos buffer in the background, are there much uses as of yet for multitasking?

is 1password now integrated with safari maybe? can you take calls while using the tomtom app?

Is there any way to tell which apps are running? I can't tell which apps are still chugging away in the background?

Also, when you press home just once, does that just close the current app or all apps?

To see 'what's stored in RAM', double tap the home button.

Doesn't that just bring up a list of all apps regardless of status? with the most recently used at the front of the queue?
