Mamba broken already...

Cant believe it, the mumba has broken already. had some problems with it constantly going to sleep and not working, so i just pushed in thenect button on the stand/hub and the button has gone all the way inside and dissappeared and is now rattling inside...

tbh i have had nothing but problems with this mouse and im regretting buying it :( 2 weeks old.

yeh unlucky dude but best bet is to get a replacement cos its still under warranty

however given the choice i would want my cash back and buy a Logitech G5 or MX518

im very tempted tbh, its annoying me soo much atm. its constantly going to sleep and when i return to the pc i have to wait like 5 -10 seconds to wake up, it doesnt chage up all the time and now this problem with the button snapping inside.

not what u would expect for a £130 mouse..

Is it wrong that this made me chuckle? Let me know how you get on soullkilla, I am looking for a new mouse/keyboard combo (preferbly wireless) so If you come across anything good let me know.

I presume you are talking about the razer mamba mouse? I have had mine since it was first released and originally had some issues around power saving / recharging. However, everything has been fine since the v1.07 firmware update. It is well worth upgrading to this when you get your replacement.

ok thanks psycho ill try the update. still hae the problem with the connect button, ill have to send it back :( this will be the second faulty item i have sent back since i got this complete pc build, not my day at all :(

I'd be gutted, £50 Microsoft Sidewinder, 1 year on no problems. From what I've heard and seen with some mates, I'm never touching Razer products, their products don't do their packaging justice ;)

Ive never touched a Razor product in my life! Never will :D

£130?? A ridiculous amount to spend on a mouse anyway, but for it to go wrong is inexcusable for that money. I'd expect armour plating and a turret for that kind of cash.

Don't see why you shouldn't, they are absolutely brilliant. Just because one went wrong doesn't mean all of them are bad. Most of my mates who game have one and they can't fault theirs.

I just think their products are tacky, there mouses and keyboards just copy Logitech and are made poorly.

I have to disagree with you there on the mice, Razer have been making gaming mice for ages now and if anyone is a copy, it's logitech. And they are hardly tacky at all, they are solid mice that take a lot of beating. On the keyboard side, I agree, Razer have yet to make something that matches the G15.
