Hi does anyone here use Mumble version 1.2.3? i've signed up to a free 5 slot server for me and my mates with https://www.mymumble.com/ but I have one noob question...

When I post a link in the chat bar it highlight for me and only for me, same with other people. is there a setting somewhere that will make the link clickable or would I have to do that in the admin panel on mymumble.com? It's no biggie but it's bloody annoying sometimes that you have to highlight the whole link and copy/paste it in instead of just clicking on it and having FireFox open up and take you to the web page.

Do you get access to the mumble.ini file? I run a server myself and all the config is done through there.

That being said I run 1.2.4 which has a far superior audio codec. (Opus)

Hi I don't know because the server I have is free, would the .ini file be where I installed Mumble or will it be hidden somewhere? Can I not do anything like that from the Mumble control panel and do links work on your Mumble 1.2.4?

Thanks.

I had 1.2.3 and links worked on that client version also.

Try looking in where mumble is installed for a folder called 'Murmur' this is what the server terminal is called. In that, should be a file which has the configuration settings.

If you want you can add me on STEAM and I can try to help out further.

It may be better just using OCUK's mumble server as its always on and has low pings, or you can use mine if you like.

I don't have a folder called 'Murmumr'. :(

The only things I have in my installation folder are 'plugins', 'QtPlugins' and a load of other Mumble files but none of them say Murmur. Might have to re-install when I get home or get the newer version.
