Mumble (Someone sounds like they are lagging/stuttering)

In Mumble I have someone who sometimes when talking it sounds like their mic is really static and I cannot hear them properly, however other people in the channel can hear him fine.

It is just this one user for me, but everyone else is fine... And he can hear me fine? I am unsure what is causing it.

Anyone heard of this before?

Yea, have it all the time, if you or the server host lags then peoples voices will turn into static / tinny robot sounding.

Had this problem with 2 hosts so far and also there is another problem where everyone can hear each other but 1 person in the group can't hear anyone at all until they rebind their push to talk button or quit and reopen mumble multiple times.

Still happening, but it seems to be certain people, there are 2 people in the mumble who have this crackling sound. Which is annoying for me, but other people can hear them fine.

Would be interesting if you got one of them on Skype to know for sure if it's your mumble server.

They might have "listen" enabled on the device in sounds causing feed back giving off distortion.
