Mum's PC Dead -no POST

A quality PSU has extra protection circuits in it. A PC built to cost will have a very cheap and very nasty PSU in it that tends to cause damage as it fails. Compare the weight of your PSUs and you will notice the difference. :)
 
Got a PSU from a computer store nearby and it seems to have everything working now :D

I think I will also buy my mum a surge protector with a good warranty, as this PSU is very "light" :p
