Hi peeps am hoping for some advice concernin my ssd which is due on the welcome mat any moment. Have a 60gb callisto dx comin and a choice of 2 mobo's here in lies prob. I have one gigabyte m52l-s3p with nvidia 520le chipset only 2 sata ports. And an asrock alive nf7g- 720hd 4 sata ports. Now ive read that the ssd will work better on the asrock amd chipset than the nvidia one but the asrock has no win 7 drivers. I need the extra sata ports but am concerned that using vista 64 drivers will leave me with no trim support. I would prefer 2 hang in with the gigabyte and cope with ide optical drive ( sorry other sata port for h.d.d ) so basic is chipset gonna make that much performance difference or is it a no-brainer as the asrock has no win 7 support. Sorry if this is messy on a mobile fone. Any advice is most welcome.
