anyone has them.. are u happy with them...?

I got them and to be honest I am not that happy at all...

SPD reports 1000MHz with 5-5-5-12 2T at 2.05v
anything less than 2.2v will give me random blue screens
(memory managment, page faults, irq faults etc..)

I have pushed them to 1066 wich will go only with 2.3v but they dont work properly... lots of errors.. apps crashing etc.

thinking of swapping them with corsairs 2x2gig 8500.. u think is worth it?
or should I be contempt with what I have?

also.. what is the max volts u usually set them for 24/7
has anyone fried theirs with overvoltage.. (mb gives me a max of 2.7v I think)

Is this the 2x2gb PC2-8000 kit?

IIRC they used Micron chips, and they need 2.2v.

Mushkin's quality ram so i'd say that sounds like either your mobo doesn't like the ram or it's toasted.

I use 8gb of OCZ XTC PC8000 and it's been very stable so far.

Cool running and solid as a rock on my X38 DS5.

Running below stock speed at the moment but i have run it at stock speed and volts with no problems.

the team group 2GB sticks only need 1.85v for 1000mhz 5-5-5-15 not sure what IC's they use but they're nicer than the micron's and cheaper.

mushkin are overpriced these days imo.

i got them for 75Euros and now they are up to 109.

mobo is an abit p35.
left the mem at 2.2v and uped a bit the mem controller.. gave me a bit of extra stability
(blue screens occur rarely now)

to be honest I was thinking maybe it's a power problem.

my old system developed prob with the mems as well
