" 2008 will be a year for new beginnings for memory and PSU manufacturer Mushkin as the company is planning to try its luck in the graphics card business. Early next year, on January 10 apparently, Mushkin is planning to release its first card, a GeForce 8800 GT card that uses Nvidia's reference design but features higher clocks with the GPU set to be at 700 MHz (stock is 600 MHz). The card's bundle will include a flash drive with the required drivers but no game bundle has been announced. But we want just want the card anyway. "

Breaking News: Mushkin to put their own stickers on nVidia OEM cards, and place them in a Mushkin box.

You can hardly get Muskin memory in this country, so their graphics cards are probably going to be scarce.

Just another NVIDIA Vendor then, hardly anything to get excited about.
Well no, its the Legendary Mushkin and they are moving into the GPU arena, thats worth a heads up about!

Normally when a company takes on a popular product line they try and come up with something special, so they stand out of the crowd kinda.

Think Corsair when they announced they were gonna start selling PSU's.

Anyway If Muskin make a graphics card I'm sure it will have something going for it, maybe a holographic sticker or something! :D

[edit] Nothing excites you anymore Tom, you peaked at the HD2900XT and now its all downhill for you! ;)

I'm having to find other ways to entertain myself, it seems just posting an opinion these days does that! ;)
just remember the rules Tom.

"We also expect members to behave respectfully and not launch personal or abusive attacks on other members. Those who post for the sole purpose of causing trouble are not welcome here and will be dealt with accordingly"

/me waits on facts showing Thread is misleading.

It can be taken in a different context. Simple. I half expected to see "OMG NEW GFX MANUFACTURER", As I'm sure others did. When in actual fact it was just another vendor which really isn't all that exciting.

I'll leave now then ;)

I don't think I've seen a USB flash drive bundled with anything before? not a killa feature by any means but if the overall price is right then thats a useful extra, would be cool if it has Musshy logo.

I'm sure most of us on the forums won't be using supplied drivers though.

Anyway I think the more vendors that enter the graphics card market the better it is for us consumers as they will all be competing for our custom.

Suprised they are starting with a 8800 GT that close to the 9 series, just seems a bit odd they didn't wait and start off nicely with a 9600.
