I'm trying to convert my FLAC music to Q5 OGG. It works, but tags are all messed up!

Here's a picture from one of my FLAC encoded albums, showing all the tag headers are ok.

And here's from OGG file that's been converted, missing several tag headers on each!

I'm DBpoweramp installed the following..

DBPOWERAMP dMC-r11.5.exe
dBpowerAMP-OggVorbis-aoTuV-SSE2.exe
dBpowerAMP-codec-flac.exe

Here's snapshot from dbpoweramp conversion. Tried ticking and unticking "preserve id tags" checkbox. No difference, both knackered.

I ripped my collection to FLAC specifically so I can easily convert them to MP3, OGG etc of the bitrate of my choice. Now I can't do it, as the tags are messed up.

The only solution would be to rerip/recode from original CD

If you use (in Tag&Rename) get tags from files, you should be able to generate the tags.

i.e. Artist\Album\Title.ogg can be used to populate the Artist, Album and Title.

But why should I have to do that? Tags are all correct in the flac files. I've got 1000+ albums to convert, I'm not spending hours retrieving tags from filenames. It won't work either as tracks are called 01- track. flac and not 01- artist - title.flac

Here's right click, id tag of a flac file. Shows fine.

More info, scrolled down.

edit I've got tag and rename from files (artist and album) , except title it's showing

01 - title

How do I remove 01 and - prefix?

it would seem dbpoweramp is the problem here. are there not any more options to play with? :)

foobar works but you'll need to download the ogg encoder manually (but foobar has an ogg preset built in so you don't to worry about command line options)

i've even tested to make sure it works... ;)
