Music Creation : Tenori-On vs Ipad vs Android tablet

Hey

I've always fancied a Tenori-On but looking at the orange version for around £250 I'm wondering if theres potentially a better deal to be had say getting a Asus Transformer Prime and some apps similar to the Tenori-On.

Anyone know of any good music creation / Midi type apps that are any good or have any experience of what I'm looking at playing with?

If you are into getting something like that then the Korg Kaos pad and Kaossilator are probably worth looking at
