Music in The Bill

Barbarians at the gates! The philistines that be have whacked some dodgy music into the more 'emotional' moments in my favourite programme. Don't those fools realise, that one of the best about The Bill was that it didn't have music?! Gritty, fast-paced, and solely reliant on real life sounds and speech.

lol, they've added music to The Bill? I stopped watching it when they got in that new producer, who killed off all of the decent cast, went poo from then on

Yeah noticed that straight away tonight (didn't watch it yesterday), although I think it's just for this weeks two-parter (hopefully!).

Yeah as soon as I turned it on i noticed it, it makes it seem like some random drama/murder program, not what it actually should be - a reflection on real life.

Get rid of the music, it sucks.

I noticed that on Wednesday night, but not last night as I was watching the footy. I originally thought that it was because they were in Romania or wherever and so had far less control over sound quality (because in general it sounded poor the other night) so they put some music in to make it a little more palatable. I hope so, because it was noticeably annoying.

Then again, sound can turn a picture into so much more - they might just get it right.....eventually.

As an aside, I accidentally discovered something a few days ago that might interest you 24 worshippers. The film Usual Suspects, which is of course older than 24, had a character called Jack Baer...reckon he might have inspiried the name of the 24 character?

I just glanced at the tv when i popped home.....saw some funky camera angles......"thats the bill??" i asked.....what are they doing to the poor thing

The music is gone! Thankfully it was just for that Romanian nonsense as somebody suggested. What were those muppets thinking?!
