Music mixing

Hi all,

What music editing software is best for mixing two tracks together? I would like to be able to add in sounds and do a proper mix of the two tracks like you would get a a nightclub for example.

Im very new too this so have no idea!

Ive used Virtual DJ, Traktor, and Serato for DJ'ing before. I'd start with the free version of Virtual DJ (if there still is one, its been a while).

Cheers chaps, I'll give Virtual DJ a go. Seems there still is a free version!
