I've been looking at options for getting music into the existing headunit.
I've got an E39, it has a double-din unit with satnav (DVD player in the boot), multichanger and DSP. Currently the multichanger only plays music from the left speakers, while the radio works fine in proper stereo.. so I need to check the connections.
Doing some digging online I've uncovered options using kit from DICE, or Intravee+Alpine combinations. Intravee seems to have good feedback, but supply is an issue seeing as the maker seems to have er.. met his maker.
I'd also like the option of doing the same to an E30 with standard 'Business Radio' - tape in the front, multichanger in the boot, but if this is a bonkers idea due to usability - I can live without it.
Any gotchas, recommendations or alternatives? I want to keep the existing OEM head unit.
Thanks.
