Winamp is worth it. Winamp Pro? Not so sure now. I used to swear by it but I've found other ways of ripping CDs so I don't need the unlimited speed CD ripping that Winamp Pro gets me.

As for iTunes music and anapod, I wouldn't be surprised if Apple have introduced something to iTunes in the last few versions that mean only iTunes can handle locked files. I presume you have no problem handling the music with iTunes? So it is something that anapod can't do that is the problem?

I've used Winamp classic for 9 years and never had any trouble with it.
I know people who swear by Foobar2000 though, which is highly customisable and relatively lightweight.

Winamp all the way, foobar is meant to be good as said but I really can't be bothered sorting it all to how I like.

Sinque - That is what is stopping me trying foobar. It looks rubbish when you install it and I really don't have the time or the (l33t) skillz to skin it up to look nicer. And the Bento skin for Winamp looks really nice. I don't see any need to bother trying to match the Bento skin. :)

Bento was really nice but it wouldn't let me seperate some of the windows, it would constantly have the library open or the album art, so I've just gone back to blue modern.

True. :( I can only minimise the window between the main window and the playlist so it shows a little llama pic where the album art should be. If I could get rid of that I'd be so happy. Am a little saddened that the Winamp crew didn't make it a nice easy option to hide that bit. :(

I have the main window minimized with the playlist under it. The main window stuck in the top right with the playlist stretched right to the bottom of the screen.

Bento would never do it, sob sob :(
