hi

Recently I have updated to the latest Itunes and I'm not liking it having a few problems with even signing in with it keep coming up with connection reset after a while of trying to sign in.

I use itunes to purchase music and stream the music to my Zeppelin air, what I would like to know is there any other software I could use instead to stream my itunes music to my zeppelin air?

It would need to be able to play my music purchases of itunes as well.

Im on windows 8.

cheers

I use Zune - (now called xBox music I think) - and it's outstanding - about £9 per month for access to their entire catalogue (one of the biggest). The player happily includes any of your previous music.

Quickplay is by far and away their finest feature - select an artist of your choice and it will stream a playlist based on that artist live from the web.

It was massively overlooked, partly because the Zune players failed to take hold, and also be MS were unbelievably slow to bring it to the European market - if I had to describe it, it's similar to Spotify Premium, but several degrees better :D

Not sure if it's still true - but the subscription used to pay for one Album per month to call your own - so it really was incredible value for money!

Also: It looks like they are really pushing the Window 8 integration so it should be even slicker for you (I'm still languishing with windows 7)

I'd try J.River Media Center. Paywayre ($50), but it's the only thing I've ever found to handle a 200,000 file library reliably.

It'll also do DLNA streaming, but sadly it looks like your Zepplin Air is tied into AirPlay.
If you're absolutely set on keeping it, then you'd either need to use Itunes or a third-party AirPlay streamer, of which there are actually very few, and none off the top of my head which also do music playback.
