music player wanted

I've just installed winamp, is it me or is it less of a resource and performance hog compared to WMP and is SQ slightly better??

I tried foobar, did not like the default skin and apparently it is hard to install skins :( havent found any good ones with instructions too.
 
Think I'm screwed for every music player I try, put WMP11 back on and now everytime I play a music track my pc blue screens on me :/
 
only ever use winamp...its a lot easier on the resources too so if your gaming online it has little to no impact
 
after 4 hours of playing around with winamp i uninstalled it, its way to much for what i wanted. cant fault the player its briilliant, thanks to everyone loads of comments really helped.
im now using kmplayer which i also use for my videos etc.
i wanted not a media library but a basic player that would play any file and look stylish, i always know what i want to listen to!! so basic open music>play>close after.
which after a an hour or so found that kmplayer will do that for me same as wmp did but will play all files.
