i'm after a music player to use in ubuntu and the ones i've tried so far haven't quite hit the spot.....
amarok is quite nice but it doesn't seem to support cue sheets properly. i need a player than can load the cue sheet and let me select tracks like it were a normal album. also the cursor not following where i highlight is bad. i see there is a queue manager but i don't want anything that complicated. i just want to have a track playing, highlight another track in the playlist and have it play that track next, not the one after the currently playing...
xmms sucks. not much else to say really....
i've tried running foobar in wine and it works well enough. but the sound skips under even the slightest load such as opening/closing other apps. if this could work without the skipping i'd be well happy.
is there a fix for my gripes with amarok or another better player out there. thanks.
