Music Recommendations

I'm looking to expand my musical taste a bit so would like to listen some Blues and some Funk but have no idea where to start I can't beleive I don't have any of either in my collection. So what do you guys recommend?

Dude I'm not usually one to do this, but there are about 5 threads in this forum with some great suggestions in.

PS. C'mon Toon!!! Fat freddy better bring in some new signings.
