Music software

Hi guys sorry if this is the wrong forum, but what do you use to rip music to your pc (must support mp3 and FLAC). Ive been using WMP but im getting fed up of it either not having any details or putting in completly the wrong details with seemingly no option to undo the change.

I use eac (exact audio copy) for my music ripping, or If I'm being lazy Foobar.

I use MusicBee. I think it does FLAC straight away, but requires an add on for MP3. Also happens to be the best music player out there.

Exact Audio Copy to rip and MusicBee to play it back.

Do these all add metadata, as i posted this i had a play with itunes which is pretty good at finding data and then using dbpoweramp to convert from ALAC to FLAC (Why apple have to be different is beyond me).
