Couldn't decide if this should be in here or the music forum but I went for here...

I'm compiling a playlist to listen to while I paint my Warhammer 40k miniatures. Also when I finish my Bad Moons army I may be playing some games against me mates and its nice to have a soundtrack in the background then as well.

So far I have come up with the below list, I would appreciate anyone else suggesting others? I would rather keep it to instrumentals.

Anvil of Crom - Conan soundtrack
Armored Prayer - Gears of War 2 soundtrack
Battle Theme - Final Fantasy 6, The Black Mages
Blood on Bortsch - Jimi Tenor
Duel of the fates - StarWars Ep1
Heroics - Harry Gregson-Williams
Hyperblast Redux - UT 2004, Epic games anniversary soundtrack
Klendathu Drop - Starship Troopers soundtrack
Klingon Battle - Star Trek the Motion Picture soundtrack
On a pale horse - Halo soundtrack
Seizure of Power - Marilyn Manson
Terminator main theme - Terminator soundtrack
Terran 2 - Starcraft soundtrack
The gun pointed at the head of the universe - Halo soundtrack
The Jihad - Children of Dune soundtrack
Theme - Doom 3
Theme - Icewind Dale
Track 01 - Hitman 2 soundtrack
Unreleased theme - Unreal Tournament 3, Epic games anniversary soundtrack

A slection of Sonic Mayhem/Quake tunes
A selection of Two Steps From Hell tracks
A selection of Dawn Of War/Chaos Gate tracks

I tend to listen to a mixture of anime OST's (Ghost in the Shell:SAC, Macross etc), some game OST's (Dawn of War is a must:p), and things like Meatloaf and the Divine Comedy.

I've also found that audio books and radio plays can be fun, and that of the radio stations Absolute 90's seems to be about the most tolerable in terms of music played.

I did try listening to R4 panel shows and the like, but found it very hard to paint when I'm laughing my backside off due to something that has been said on Just a Minute or the News Quiz.
