Music Used In U.K. TV Adverts

Is someone supposed to check what music is being used in U.K. TV adverts?

Is someone at an ad agency having a snide laugh at it all?

I ask as the latest KFC advert features a very short piece of Disturbed’s “Down With The Sickness”, a very dark and very angry little number.

I mean, I don't really understand the issue?..... Other than the bridge, which I'm guessing isn't the part used, it's a pretty tame song overall.

What do you mean “check”?

The ad agency / in-house team would decide what music is used.
