MusicBee like alternative for movies?

I've been using MusicBee for a while now and I love the way it organises all my music into a neat, organised library. I've been wanting something like that for movies/tv shows for a while now, but haven't come across anything. I've heard of PLEX but that seems to be more a home server type solution? (Plus it won't run on my Synology NAS). I don't need it to actually play the movies in the program (I use MPC-BE as my player) I just need some kind of neat organisation much like MusicBee.

Anyone know anything?

Cant you use xbmc? You can still use mpc-be for playback

Ah, never thought of that! I'd heard of plex being similar to XMBC so I just figured it'd be the same where it's most all media server, cause I don't think plex works so well as a library without it.

Well, I tried both. PLEX web server was the best but the refusal to allow using an external player killed it for me. Home Theatre was clunky, and XBMC was mostly the same.

Since I'm not using it on a TV I really don't need the UI completely designed for TVs that is a pain to navigate through on a PC, ho hum.

Also setting up MPC-BE for playback on XBMC seemed needlessly complicated as well.
