My specs as below is the "Workhorse" box, it's currently running the onboard 9300 - it handles well. But I'm noticing some stuttering whilst watching a video and playing WoW (only game I play on my PC) the one requirement I have for the card is it's nVidia, and I don't really want to upgrade my PSU...

I'm pretty sure that the 450 will work with my 300w PSU, as the CPU I'm running is pretty low power, and my RAM is low voltage too, so I don't think it's sucking much of the PSU. I've noticed that the top end of the draw is like, ~219w and idle is ~120w. My other option is get a cheapo naffo card for my server and lump the 4850 into my workhorse, but I run Linux and my workhorse performs better with the 9300 and Celeron than my quad and 4850 did, hence the want for a nVidia card.

Or would a 430 even be sufficient for my needs? Seen as though the majority of my gaming is either done on consoles or just playing WoW in a 1366x768 res window, with maybe having a video playing whilst gaming (as grinding gets a tad boring, as does trash. :p)

Thoughts please!

Thanks,

-Rich

Edit: Just FYI, when the stuttering was occurring, it wasn't CPU choke as I checked the load and it was ~30-50% load...

@Ejizz, I mentioned twice that I don't want ATi, purely because the ATi drivers for Linux suck so badly that it made a E3300 with a Geforce 9300 perform better than a Q6600 with a 4850. ;)
