Muskin 2x2gb HP26400

Q6600 and DFI 965-S. Should really update the signature now its ordered and paid for!

Its going to be ran at 2T timings mind. Its been hard to balance capacity, performance and cost. I normally go overboard!

I will of course try and play and just have two sticks for benching.

Why the hell do you need 8GB of RAM? . 4GB would be overkill IMO! Especially considering how expensive this stuff is. I would cancel one of the sets while you still can! Or send it back under the DSA before opening it if it's already been sent. You really don't need 8GB unless you have a real reason that you KNOW you need it for.

No one had any experience with this memory?

No, but I would love to see some benchmarks on your system, with 8Gb RAID0 I-RAM and 8Gb main RAM then there is no real possibility of it paging to a magnetic drive at all. It should be very interesting to see how it performs.

8gb for 2gb system ram and I will use the other 6gb for a Ramddrive. Ordered from states at a price less then the Corsair 6400 memory available on overclockers.

WJA96, I will be sharing experiences on here and any benchmarks thrown at me :)

Going to compare the following setup for load times of COH and Battlefield.
1) Full 8gb system ram available with pagefile on I-RAM and games on SATA300 array.
2) 2gb System Ram and pagefile on I-RAM with the games on the 6gb RAMDRIVE.
3) Full 8gb system ram available with pagefile and games on I-RAM.

Going to go fastest config possible :)

On topic: with just two sticks installed will be playing with timings and fsb. Reviews found so far seem to be promising:)
