I installed my beta version of Vista and the internet works fine apart from www.google.co.uk and www.msn.com.
I can ping them but i can't view them in firefox or IE7.

I have tried disabling the Firewall to no avail.

Does anyone have any ideas ?

The internet is fine in XP still

'telnet' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

It would appear telnet doesn't work in Vista

Its nothing to do with DNS

Obviosly not.

How can you change the MTU value in Vista, Ive searched but found nothing.

It's not in the normal XP place.

I can do an nslookup on both sites so it isn't DNS.

I have tried changing to DHCP and fixed ip addresses.

I can't find the registry entry to change the MTU.

I'll take my pc around to my dad's in the next week, I use the same ip address for XP as Vista and XP has no problems. I had to tweak the MTU on XP to get mess.be to work.

Does anyone know how to change the MTU in Vista ?

I was advised to plug my NIC cable into my other NIC port rather than the Marvell one.
