I've been playing problem free for 18 mths with new PC I build here 18 months ago and it has been a delight,
gtx 680 MSI i5 z 87 haswll build, umm 8gb ram.
I got the most vile virus and had to do fresh install,i could not even back anything up.
I had win 10 on new SSD and the win 8 disk would not bloody work, i kept getting some errors about fat32, but it gave more no option to change it, and i could not boot up it was bsod.
so out of utter anger and rage i formatted the DDS, there was no other way i tried everything... have i messed up?
Because my PC is just not the bloody same, not its slower i think, that blue circle is there at the start not even turning, and i cant rick click or even check task manager, but the i get a GTX 680 kernal error and it says its fixed it self.
I SSd test said all was fine, but I dint even under that really.
I think i may have missed a vital thing in the set up, what are the must do's when you have to do this? Ive got
win defender
malware bytes
God what ese
i installed disks from original for board and card, but i had msi and i wanted nvidia and i got new driver from nvidia and thats when this started, but i reinstalled driver and tried again and same thing.
things are just taking longer now, i had so many settings and little programmes i had, i just use pc for gaming. Could it be power settings? I have 750w antec,
I Nevr had any probs before i got that virus, but when you build your own PC as you all know you notice a ny wee chnage instantly and my baby is sick.
I have bf4 on another ccd, which seems to have waaaaay less numbers on the benchmark than my main DDs with win 10 on it, I formatted that one aswell in my rage as i didnt know which was which and i just dont understand partitions and things.
DoI need to update my cpu, MB again, what about bios? Should i use msi or nvidia drivers for the GTX 680 MSI lightning? I just dont know enough about this kinda stuff.
