What are the "Must Go" locations. Places that every 'tog must visit.

I can think of three (although I have only been to the first two)

Donna Nook - for the seals
Skomer - for the puffins
Machynlleth Loop - for the low level aircraft

Where else should be on my "Must Go" list?

Andrew

In South Devon -

Dartmoor National Park - Good for landscape and wildlife
Bantham Beach - Landscape/Seascapes
South Hams area along the coast - Landscape/Seascapes

but i was kiting in hunstanton (not far from donna nook) a month or so ago, and a pod of seals decided to say hello, not more than 10m or so from me. Pretty cool. :)

Well if you are going to include foreign places then:

Karlovy Vary (Czech Republic) - A very scenic little city
Nong Khai (Thailand) - Has some awesome giant statues there

In the UK then the hill in Winchester is quite nice on a sunny day. Aberdeen beach if you want the worlds worst beach photos too ;)

Devils drop - Brighton. Get above the Clouds Dude. Awesome spot for Everything.

Glencoe for landscape drama:eek:
Sutherland for ruggedness and wildlife - places like Inchnadamph and Handa Island etc
How far do you want to travel?:)
Petra is quite photogenic:D

North Cornwall, it really is beautiful, and contrasts nicely with Dartmoor (which is another must go place for nature at it's best.)

Other than that, foreign would be

The Pyrenees
Death Valley (and SW US in general)

Porth Nanven, Cornwall - Seascapes

It really is magical, I think it might have been Joe Cornish who said every photographer should shoot there once.

Prague - Great architecture and top totty :D

Or just go to Torry for some rough 'street life' :p

EDIT:

Rural Perthshire aint too shabby on the landscape front

I'd like to add the coastal road (A77) north of Stranraer to this list aswell. There are some great seascapes and very "Bond villian" looking island out there aswell. I was driving there a week ago, after getting off a ferry, without any camera to hand!

here's a google maps link

I'd have to say that whole stretch of coast there is pretty spectacular looking on a nice day (which it was).

Rome (been)
Yosemite National Park (been)

and that place these lot go to take photo's of the jets at low altitude (where you posted in the first post :D) so, as you've said that I'll add:

Grand Canyon and Vegas
