MUST HAVE ATI CARD

guys,

im an nvidia head always have and always will, however my mate time has come and know nothing about ATI whats the must have ati card right now

he was using x1900 in x-fire but ones blown up

3870XT is the best card from ATI at the moment, but the 3870X2 (dual GPU) card is due out very soon, the 3870s are reasonably quick (slightly slower than 8800GT) and have insane memory clock speed (seen them at 2.6Ghz memory before), there also cheaper than the 8800GT and are in plentiful supply

EVGA & XFX only do Nvidia cards.

well EVGA and XFX are NVIDIA partners, never heard anything bad about HIS on the ATI side of things, plus they generally come with there ICEQ cooler

HIS always have good looking coolers, I know it's not much, but in a window'd case it would look good
