Must have PS3 games?

Well I've took the plunge and bought a PS3 and keeping it for crimbo so I've got something to look forward to, I've been looking at some exclusives and their is too many I can't afford them all

.

if you had to choose 2 what would it be?

I'm really don't mind the genre as long as it isn't sports based.

is their any I should look out for, GoW collection perhaps?

really never owned a playstation ever, apart from my PSP fat.

Uncharted 2 for certain and 2nd one of either God of War Collection/Infamous/MGS4/LBP apart from PSN games they are probably the Exclusive games I have spent most time on, but I assume you mean disc based games you can buy before you "open" your console at xmas.

Had my PS3 since May 2007 and Im still in love with Resistance: Fall of Man.
I have got Resistance2 but to me it does not compare with Resistance1. GREAT game.

You asked for 2 games so I must recommend. Resistance and Little Big Planet

I could probably get 3 as most of the older platinum titles are less than 20 squids, and I'm not bothered if it's PSN exclusive, can download it on the day.

looks like Uncharter 2 gets some good praise, do you need Uncharted one to understand the second installment or are they seperate?

I'll end up getting the first one as well most likely if I see it cheap somewhere.

if i had to pick just 3 i would suggest:

Uncharted 1, then get 2 at a later date

LBP, hours of fun if you have friends on PSN

MGS4 if you like that thing but make sure you know what your in for its not to everyones taste...
failing that MW2? - not an exclusive and if you said you have a 360 i missed it but IMO this is a must have (if you play online anyway if not its a definate rent)

Ebay for Demons souls, i wanted it myself as i had seen it going for around £35-40 but decided on Dragon Age:Origins, only picked it up today but after a couple of hours of play i think im going to enjoy it... from the reviews ive seen its rated very highly but the PC version is graphically superior and is supposed to have a better control system but i think the PS3 does a fine job... so far.

as for GoW last thing i knew was there is no confirmed EU release but PS3 is region free so play asia/ebay should sort you out

See this post, and read further down the thread for more details. You should be able to import it for 30ish quid, obviously you have time to wait as you aren't opening your PS3 till xmas.

Completed God of War 1 today and it felt like I was playing a PS3 game tbh, what was lacking in textures, was made up by the gameplay.

from a uk retailer well worth the money imo and remember it will hold a high resale value for a long long time yet probably get £40 at the very least for it on resale
