Must have PS3 games

I'd say the must have game for the PS3 imo is LBP. Played through about 3 times with friends now and never gets boring.
 
Only get MGS4 if you have played the previous 3.

TBH even if you have be careful, rent it first, you may end up like me and only completing it because you don't want to waste the money you spent.

God damn it I hate that game.

I'm quite serious.

It just felt like umpteen hours of Hideo Kojima seeing what he could get away with and still call it a game, if anything it's an interactive movie more than it is a game, in the first hour or so you actually play about 10 minutes, it's absurd. That and the story is pathetic, the voice acting is considerably worse than I had come to expect from the series and the gameplay itself was clunky, badly controlled, badly paced and amazingly dull. So many of the story choices made absolutely no sense and just seemed like contrived attempts to be "edgy". It's just bad, in every possibly way.

Well no that's a lie, it looks nice, that's about it.

The first 3 are fantastic, 2 being the weakest of them for obvious reasons. 4 for me was just not MGS, it was like some kind of crazed Japanese fever dream.

I loved the game, And Im a massive MGS fan.

PSX version of MGS > MGS4 > MGS3 > MGS:Twin Snake > MGS2

And PSX MGS and MGS4 are in my all time top 5, along with RE2, FF7 and KOTOR


On topic: I would recommend

MGS4, Uncharted 1 and 2, Killzone 2, and heavenly sword due to bargain pricing. Also FF7 and FF8 from PSN network.
