Must have things when driving?

You'll need some cat food then?

I used to have a veritable McGuyver's den of stuff in the boot.

It's all gone now so we can get puschairs and baby stuff in. :(

Used to frequently bump start my old 318i - why use the starter when parked on a hill? - , with a Cat, (that did'nt eat cat food) it was fine. :o

I have all things listed in this thread so far, including pear drops.

Oh the perks of driving a French car!

Same here, unless im going on a trip away, then i'll take a few tools but nothing major.

Mobile phone and wallet when in car.

When out on bike, mobile phone, wallet, replacement clear visor to switch with black one if required. Visor cleaner sponge-bottle thingy. Right angled tyre valve. Disclock. Sidestand puck. Digital camera. Puncture repair kit, waterproof oversuit if it looks like the weather might change.

Most of which lives under the seat hump or in an Oxford Sports bum-bag.

Oh and a packet of smokes, for when we stop and have one of those "Ahhhh.......Condor" moments.

Same, plus AA card of course. I couldn't be doing with having a boot full of tools - I often need the space and, knowing my luck, it would be nicked.

Rover used to have a 150 piece too kit in the boot. If I ever took it out and forgot to put it back in then I would need it.

Having the kit in the boot meant I never need it.

I always have a map in my cars.
