I found the compat on Mercenaries to be really shoddy - lots of lockups. Conversely Halo 1&2 consistently ran perfectly.
Hulk Ultimate Destruction & Ultimate Spider-Man are both good if you're into superheroes (especially Hulk).
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is pretty good.
