anyone watching this tonight on Ch4, 9pm?

I know it's officially a reality show, but it sounds good. 9 men have to recreate the 4000 mile journey across the South Pacific that Captain Bligh took in a rowing boat when he was cast off from the Bounty.

I love the mutiny in the bounty stories, so this should be brilliant if they are truly left to their own devices like the original crew was.

Enjoyed it but they are not totally isolated its obvious there's a distant support crew offering minimal assistance ,either way I wouldn't want to be in that boat no matter how much respect I have for Ex SAS Ant the captain lol :p

Yeah there is most probably an assistance boat but even with their life preservers, it must still be utterly terrifying and quite dangerous to go overboard in one of those night time storms they go through. Sod that for a game of toy soldiers.

That blokes hands looked like were about to drop off

Enjoyed it a lot, nice to see them pull back together after Chris had a moment on the island and did the "lad" bit.

The support boat was there for health an safety, if anyone called for it that would be them gone according to the radio times interview with Ant here.

Looking forward to see how they get on, I certainly don't think I would want to put myself in their situation!

Forgot about this will catch up on it tomorrow, Ant pretty much made the SAS series' so I have high hopes.

only watched the first one , don't think i'll bother again , who chargers the camera batteries ? life vests . no natives trying to kill them with stones. the knowledge that a support boat is a mile behind in constant view . waste of time
