Also Kudos who can tell me the price of the iphone 3GS on apple's belgium store

http://store.apple.com/be-fr

For the life of me I can't find it :(

Lucky for us though the Iphone in belgium is not tied to any network. :D

However the best price plan I can find is

Myiphone 60€ per month

this gives 9hours calling time or 450 SMS
+ a whopping 1GB per month to surf.

I kid you not

*offers a huggle to everyone* as it'll turn up, and the belgiumish price will turn up... As I have faith in humanity (after watching dazed and confused)

Talking of Time Capsule, I need to buy a new one, mine just went off yesterday for no reason, now won't come back on - sounds like the power supply. Huff. Guess the 2TB is the way to go.

It's arrived! I shall be spending this evening cloning the setup from my Airport onto this box and getting the backup(s) going.

Is a Time Capsule worth it over a normal external HDD?

Was thinking about getting one but not sure how much I would actually use it. :o

Could be handy though. ;)

I'd strongly consider it if I had multiple computers (inc. laptops) to backup and also needed a new router / wireless AP. Wouldn't bother if I was just on ADSL though because then the routing part of it would go to waste and it starts to look a touch pricey.

This initial backup is going to take a while to complete.

I do have ADSL but I have a simple ADSL modem which makes my connection so the Time Capsule is doing all the wireless and routing and stuff as well as being the backup device. I think it's well worth it. I have an Airport Extreme which I was using before that I'm going to try and set up downstairs via ethernet to extend my wireless network. All good stuff.
