MW2 Bot or Not ?

A general rule: If you have to ask if it is an aimbot then it probably isn't. For future reference here is what an aimbot looks like.

Aimbots can be quite varied (look up smooth bots) anything from instant snap to the head to almost human like aiming - tho there are usually give aways noticeable to anyone with a bit of experience.

With a decent set of headphones you can easily hear enemy foot steps and the sound in MW2 is actually good enough to be able determine the direction very accurately.

I'm not even sure why you'd think he was cheating. He's a camper that uses his ears as well as his eyes, that's all.

Thats hard to tell with the music over the game sounds in that video. Couple of times I wondered but given that lack of ability to reference audio cues and fairly low quality of the video I'd have to bias on the side of him not cheating.

Uhh mini map top left showing the location of players?

Okay gotta edit: It doesn't always, but it does a few times.
+ No sound, he probably heard people running up the stairs.

It's called UAV

Even without sound you have two entrance points at that part, 1) the stairs inside the building which has a spawn point underneath 2) the ladder outside at the far end which also has a spawn point. You always turn and check even when silent as they can crouch with no sound, it's that simple.

Always UAV though? I'm pretty sure there's an option people use that has it always on.

Sometimes he looks at the floor where the doorway is below and then adjust his play to engage someone coming from there - could just be reacting to sound cues we can't really tell but it does raise suspicion of a wallhack at times, also couple of times staying dead center mass on a player while not aiming down sights which is quite hard to do without an aimbot but again due to low quality of the video can't be entirely sure. Without playing against him to get a feel for it or a better quality video I'd go with it being someone whos spent a lot of time practising their camping skills.

It is indeed mate (on both counts), hence the prove a point title as I was accused by the OP of being a cheater. Which tbh is rather sad as I've known the guy for years.

sad...... your known for it..... u set off the aimbot detector on a mw2 server and get banned, ive played games for yrs with u and no exactly your capabillites as a gamer, in 2 weeks uve gone from average too u cant touch me allso this video proves nothing aimbots can be turned on and off uve just videod what u want people to see...fact
