So what did? The official news posting suggest steam was at fault.
VAC just did what it was supposed to do, it was valves \ steams fault for rolling out the dodgy dll but VAC did nothing wrong.
Here i was thinking they didnt care about cheats in MW2? Glad VAC finally doing something about it.
Seen so many dodgy players recently it unbelievable. I have lost count of the amount of times players rack up ridiculous ratios 90/3 in a few mins and looking at the kill cam couldnt make it anymore blatent, spinning around and tracking kills through floors, walls and buildings.
What is the point, what possible enjoyment or satisfaction do these sad people get, ?
One query if someone is stupid enough to put on hacks on their client and end up hosting the MW2 server, would it drag all the legitimate players in the same game into a possible ban status as well?. Something wierd happen a while ago, I was joining a game abd loading onto the host at the start and then it suddenly crashed me out with errors "cheats detected etc", thankfully my win7 system prevented anything from being downloaded or changed on my system.
Got to be so careful when there is no dedicated servers on mw2
