MW2 matchmaking fustration

If I start up the game, I won't be able to join a game for around 5 minutes. The game can be on the menu, or looking for a game, and it won't find anything.

Once it finds a game, and I exit, it will no longer have an issue finding a game. So if I leave the game at the menu overnight, and try in the morning, it will put me straight in.

How can I fix this please? ISP is Virgin, router is DIR 655, also did it on the Superhub.

Yeah tbh the matchmaking system is a load of **** like we all said from the start, with IW arguing it was the best thing ever.

Will try that fix when I get home and see what happens...

I went back to playing Black Ops because of this! sometimes i had to wait 10 mins for a game to pop up! :mad:

Yeah its annoying, theres nothing you can do to fix it... IW needs to patch it and thats not gonna happen now :| the private game thing can help a bit but its still an extra nusiance to go through before the lobby starts finding proper games.

Yea nothing you can do about it mate, inviting a friend to lobby works but you shouldn't have to invite someone to get a game to work tbh.
