MW2 Mouse Question

Now ive just bought myself MW2 to play on my laptop and although I can get away with using the mouspad for some games... I got a feeling that MW2 will leave the bitter taste of defeat in my mouth should I go that route.

So, I have 2 options - I can either spend money and purchase the MX518 a mouse I loved back in the day when I played FPS' competitively... the main bonus being that all the mouse buttons allowed me a lot of flexibility in config.

I do have a 2 button/wheel mouse as an option, but does MW2 have a lot of config options?

buy a gaming mouse

something like a deathadder would do the job fine

yeh, get a gaming mouse. I use the logitech g9 but the deathadder is also a great suggestion. In MW2 i use both thumb side buttons on my mouse, one to switch to secondary/ primary weapon, and the other to knife.

Made for professional gamers. It's not cheap at £11.44 but it's worth every penny.

Cheers, sounds like there are a few binds, ill get a MX518 ordered then as ill be able to install the game tonight and see what I can do.

I'm not a fan of mice with those extra buttons, I always seem to be hitting them by accident. On cod, I have Q as melee, and E for prone, seems to work well.

I still use a Microsoft Laser Mouse 6000. Works great. I am left handed so a lot of these gaming mice just don;t fit my hand :mad:

Honestly, it's a great mouse

I've used all sorts of big hairy logitech/razer mice and that beats them all for comfort, size and weight by far. It's just perfect in every way. For me, at least.
I always say, the best gaming mouse is the one you use most often and are the most comfortable with. I don;t know what I'd do if they stopped making them
