MW2 on PC (Steam)

I'm having trouble finding servers online, I've forwarded all the ports but still cant seem to find any games at all. I asked a friend to check and he had the same problem, no servers showing up. Is there another way to fix this or is the game actually dead? I highly doubt it's the latter.

Takes me about 2 minutes to find my first game of the day then after that I get in them instantly. MW2 uses p2p by the way, not dedi servers. Apart from AlterIWNet.

Steam has no idea whether or not you are using it, and even if they did it's not at all a bannable kind of thing, it's just a mod to a game.... they don't ban you for using other mods.

It really is worth the half an hour it takes to install, transforms your play experience with the game completely.

there is a problem with the servers across all cod games atm, a quick google search would have been able to tell you that.

i've never played the stadard mp on the pc version of mw2.

alteriw impressed me so much I haven't even bothered trying with the standard match making.

I actually went onto the steam cod forums but couldn't find much info regarding it. If there's a problem with all the servers across cod, how am I able to find servers almost instantly in black ops and cod4? Doesn't make sense.
