Just bought Mw2 after finishing 2nd prestige mode on mw1. Only problem is i cant do a damn thing online but die? :/ ive played around 5-6 hours gametime and only killed around 25 people -_- Is the 2nd more for people that spend there lifes on there (giving the casual gamers no chance) ? I found Mw1 very easy to pick up and play (and slow too master) but mw2 just seems impossible to play online :/ Any one elese find this? should i stickwith it or take it back and get a diffrent game -_-P.s ps3 version btw

My little bro plays the Ps3 version, when I've seen him play it looks like he's in God mode... He's spent a fair few hours on there to say the least ;)

Give it time, you need to get used to the new world order of things.... soon you'll be laughing manically as you nuke the opposition to oblivion :D

Total opposite with me. As in I played MW2 online first and then tried MW1 and was poor at it.

My advice, play on simple game types like FFA and TDM, these have quite a lot of action in them. I'm level 63 and they're still my preferred game type as they are simple. :)

My advice:

Non hardcore games are usless, it's like bullets are made from rubber or something.

Free for all/TDM games are bloody awful (as they have always been in CoD), as people run round like headless chickens not giving a hoot about dying because of the respawn. Play S&D if you'd prefer the game to be more methodical and tactical.

Spend some time working out your class, favoured guns, perks that suit your gameplay, etc.

Currently a Prestige 3 level 17, and pull back between 12,000 and 25,000 per full (6 or 7 round) Hardcore S&D game.

There are a LOT of people using hacks out there... I haven't played a single game so far in 2010 where I haven't seen atleast a person using a wallhack and often atleast 2-3 using aimbots.

Unless theres someone all out 360 fov, instant snap aimbotting I usually come top of my team with scores in the region of 37 to 9 or so - so I'm not saying this coz I suck or anything ;) I have over a decade of fps experience tho - without that all the people using low fov "smooth" bots and wallhacks would be rolling me.

Hackers can burn in hell...

If given 3 wishes I would;

1) Wish for £100 Billion pounds and have it kept secret.

2) World peace.

3) Superpowers - 1 of which would be the ability to reach through a computer screen, travel down the internet and personally punch the dirty hackers in the crotch.

Play some domination and get used to the movement initially whilst trying to capture the flags rather than all out TDM.

Once your more confident start playing some HC:TDM and Search and Destroy and get yourself a good class. UMP45 is a good gun to start with (Once you unlock it) and so is the Scar-H.

If I were you I'd be trying to stick to the lower killstreaks and consistently getting that UAV. Easy kills once you've got that and it'll boost your confidence getting those kills.
