On the wagon, sorta
Just woundering if i need any more attachmants to my standard drivers licence to drive a medium wheel base and long wheel base Transit van, if i do what and what sort of price is it.

I don't think you do. But I'm pretty sure you have to keep it lighter than... what is it 3.5 tonnes?
And you can't go over 50 in an NSL, but I think if it's a white van it'll be limited to a minimum of 80.

A standard car license is fine for any van up to 3.5 tons. Even the extra long hi-top transits are only 3.5 tons. The only problem you may run into is if you then want to tow something with it if you took your test in the past 10 years as that would take you over 3.5 tons.

Edit: As mentioned above on single carriage way NSL roads you are only meant to do 50 mph not 60, dual carriage way and motorway are as normal.

Limited by law to 50mph on single carriageway NSL and 60mph on dual carriageway NSL.

Get used to driving 1m off peoples bumpers, a copy of the Sun for the dashboard and keep your foot welded to the floor at all times.

Nothing extra required, I dont have any and its not been a problem for me. As already stated (and usually ignored by most van drivers) its 50mph on single lane NSL, 60 on dual carriage and 70 on motorway. I wish I could do 60 on D/C though all our sprinters are limited to 56.
