MX Mail Help

Hey.

Looking for some help as I am experiencing issues with my email.

I have a domain registered with Daily.co.uk. I use Google Apps (Gmail) as my email service and my website is hosted with a different hosting company to the domain registrar.

Up until recently it has been working fine but then I started to notice a decrease in the volume of emails that I received and that some emails were coming through fine and others weren't reaching me at all.

The nameservers at my domain registrar are pointing correctly to my hosting company and the MX details at my hosting company are correctly set to Google servers. The Google setup wizard also confirms that everything looks okay.

I used MXToolbox to test my MX/Mail setup and got the below results. (Warning - Reverse DNS does not match SMTP Banner)

They're may have been an issue with the nameservers at my registrar being reset to default and then back again to the hosting company nameservers but this was three days ago, so I thought any impact of this change would have resolved by now.

I don't know if it helps or not but my domain email also goes through google apps and the monitor you linked gives the same errors when tested on mine but my email is working ok.

I don't think this will make a great deal of difference but might be worth setting your MX in line with Google documentation.
