The Logitech MX Master 3s seems to have dropped to only £10 more than the Mx Master 2s (At least currently).

I've been looking for a wireless mouse to use with my personal and work pc's and looking for one that will be good for both.

This seems to tick all the boxes and gets great reviews across the board, Anyone tried one and how did you find it? As good as it's made out to be?

Currently using a Razer Deathadder Wired mouse which works OK I just need something portable.

Only thing putting me off with the Mx Master 3s is that it still uses a full-size USB receiver so would need to carry an adapter as both my work/personal laptops are USB C only, not a problem at home as I'll be using a switch... Just the portable aspect of finding myself with a mouse I can't use because i forgot an adapter!

Are there better mice out there that you would recommend, or is Mx Master 3s the mouse to buy?

I got one through work and can't fault it. I appreciate the soft clicks. I had a good look at other options but couldn't find anything comparable.

Razer Basilisk v3 Pro if you want a hybrid/gaming productivity mouse, it can also switch between BT and 2.4G with a flick of a switch so you don't even need an adapter if you happen to forget it. The scroll is similar to MX Master in that it automatically switches to freescroll mode if you scroll faster. You don't get a separate vertical scroll wheel but the scroll wheel has tilt that can can effectively do the same thing.

The sensor is MUCH better than on the MX Master and the rubber sidegrips probably won't disintegrate like the rubber coating on the Logi, even though they'll inevitably wear down unless you use protective stickers/grips. It's also a lighter mouse, which might be something worth taking into account.

Other option would be the 502X Lightspeed but you lose BT as it only works with a Lightspeed dongle. Two more buttons than the Basilisk.

Overall, the MX Master 3S is still the best at strictly productivity while being rubbish at everything else whereas the above give you some sort of a hybrid that'll work well for everything.

From what I've heard, the build quality is also questionable, I only played around with one for a couple of hours and, while I liked the overall feel, the coating didn't inspire confidence and it was indeed rather heavy.

EDIT: Have just noticed this is a two-month-old thread so the OP has probably moved on but maybe it'll come in handy:P
