Guys

Can anyone who owns one this mouse tell me what they get out of it from a full charge?

Im a bit concerned as with it being only two days old i get 0.8 days battery life from a full charge. Having read elsewhere that i should expect around 4-5 days, less than one day seems a little low.

anyone..

I got about a month from my last charge!! (I was away for 2 weeks though but didn't turn the mouse off)

Stuck it in the charger the other night and when I woke up, it was still charging! lol

Very low.

Even on the first charge I got over a week out of it.

did the software tell you that you had a week remaining from a full charge, or do you mean that you were able to use it for a week on one charge?

im going by this

Mines showing 13 days and it will achieve that, still it soon drops if i play games or something which keeps the mouse active.

mine tends to last a week> week+1/2 its pretty good battery wise and your computer doesnt have to be on to charge it ;)

It's the software. Heavy use of the mouse - it'll last two days. Light use - over a week. It just needs to learn how much you're using it, then you'll get an good estimate of how much time is left.

I get about 10-12 days outa mine and I use it a lot.

Baked, your screenshot shows 0.8 days but it says its power is good, and lit in green, mines red when it gets that low, maybe its a fault? How long can you use the mouse for before it runs down? How many bars are showing on the mouse after a charge?

Just thought Baked, have you downloaded the lastest Vista 64 version of the setpoint software? I did, havent used the one supplied at all :)

yeah running the v64 drivers. all sorted now. re-installed the setpoint drivers and now saying that i have 14 days left on my charge..

was loathed to send it back as it is a fantastic mouse...

must have been an issue with the original install of the drivers, glad its working ok now..

if you installed setpoint for the sake of it get rid of it... unless its important to you

theres a mouse glitch where for half a second mouse is unresponsive although it might not be setpoint but uninstalling setpoint fixed it

yeah, read that on the logitech boards. only running it so that i dont have smooth scroll on every prog as that was pretty annoying. If i could find out how to achieve that without setpoint id be a happy man.

There's no reason to dump Setpoint unless you really have to troubleshoot a problem. Make sure you download Uberoptions to go with it if you want to customize the mouse controls.

I use Setpoint to customise all the buttons and under normal use I get about 10-12 days, I don't think Setpoint has anything to do with battery life!
