MX1000 Bluetooth problem

Hi all,

Bought an mx1000 bluetooth mouse off the bay of E...

Now, if I move the mouse back 2ft and use it on my leg its absolutely fine. However, if the mouse is on my desk it is all over the shop and the cursor goes everywhere (when trying to use it)

Not seen anything like this before....any ideas folks? lol

EDIT: Have tried it on Windows and Mac OSX still the same.

Put your leg up on the desk, problem solved.

Seriously, what surface is your desk?

Its B&Q cheap work surface....I am thinking maybe its the laser being fussy and I need a decent mouse mat.

Definitely the first thing to try. Have you tried just putting a magazine under the mouse?

I've tried a normal mouse mat, its the same, tried various bits of paper etc.

However, jean material works lol...

Time to dig out an old pair and make a mouse mat
