MX400 or a gaming mouse?

ok i am an avid gamer however, WTF is with all the ugly gaming mice?!? they all look horrible.

im currently looking at the Logitech MX400 (looks sleek and nice)

and the Logitech MX518 (5 quid more a lil more sensitive but ugly)

Anyone owned both, or a MX400 then got a gaming mouse? notice much of a difference? as im strongly leaning towards the MX400 atm..

Make sure the pixel resolution of the MX400 is up to the standards of the gaming mouse, precision is one of the foremost things you should be considering when playing games IMO. Ive got the Logitech G5 but you wouldnt like it, its more uglier than the MX518

yer i must reccomend the razor diamond back. I have a Razer Diamondback Plasma LE absolutly amazing mouse well worth the money
