MX518 Gaming Mouse

I'm trying to purchase a MX518 and it seems to be out of stock or discontinued everywhere! Does anyone know where (apart from eBay) I can get one of these legendary mice from? or if not is the G500 worth a shot?

The G500 is the replacement for the G5 (which is a cracking mouse!)

I think the G400 is the replacement for the MX518

Dont know what to buy.

I like the G9x and it's on offer. But some bad reviews.

It's in stock elsewhere by the way. Not many though. I have one unopened for the sad time that this one croaks

I am buying the G400 mouse as soon as it is in stock at OcUK, I think it will be well worth waiting for.

The g400 is almost identical to the mx518 apart from a paint job? hmms!

It is the same mouse, paint job, and a higher DPI. That is about it.

So still an awesome mouse.

Also appears to have the USB port clocked at 1000MHz in the driver rather than the 125MHz of the MX518.

I have a G500 which is an awesome mouse. Used to have a MX518, I would recommend it if you can find one.

ohhhh just had a look at the g400.

think it may end up a bigger winner than the mx518 was.

I was using the g400 other week in the logitec customer services test lab seeing how the mx518 felt and noticed that the g400 feels the exact same and as mentioned has double the DPI and also uses a newer software on your computer
